Overview
TriActive LaserDermatology, offered at Rejuvanence Medical Spa in Jacksonville, FL, is an effective therapeutic massage treatment for cellulite, using a tool which combines the mechanical action of a suction massage to stimulate collagen, circulation, and lymphatic drainage, along with a skin cooling mechanism and deep laser stimulation. This combination therapy unblocks congestion in the fat cells, and encourages draining of the lymph vessels, smoothing and tightening the skin. TriActive facilitates the development of a more contoured, healthier-looking physique by smoothing and toning the skin anywhere on the body.
With Tri-Active, your skin regains its splendor becoming velvety, smooth and radiant.
Before and Afters
Testimonials
“We wanted to see how long the benefits lasted so we just completed our three month follow-up and 85 percent of the women had improvement. Three months after they have completed their treatment the cellulite is better,” reports Dr. Bruce Katz.
“I am absolutely more confident after I have done the TriActive treatments, when I first saw the first results we had to take pictures because it was just so amazing, I couldn’t believe it!” reports 31 year old Kristi Rook.
“The TriActive received government clearance for treatment of cellulite earlier this year. Used to tighten cellulite on the body and on facial skin, it also can be used for therapeutic massage. The response in the marketplace has been extremely strong primarily because of results like Dr. Frew’s at the JUVA Center and because cellulite is such a common condition in women,” said Marina Kamenakis, Cynosure Vice President of Marketing.
TriActive Laser FAQs
Q. What is Tri-Active LaserDermology?
A. LaserDermology is a cellulite and body toning treatment using the Tri-Active system. It minimizes cellulite, smoothes and tightens your face and body, pre and post liposuction procedures, enhances microcirculation, and therapeutic massage. This system was originally developed 3 years ago by laser scientists in Italy. This innovative technology is used by Physicians and spas all over the world to uncover glowing skin to thousands of individuals.
Q. How will Tri-Active LaserDermology smooth and tighten my skin and reduce the appearance of cellulite?
A. The Tri-Active LaserDermology series of treatments uses deep mechanical massaging action, which works on the subcutaneous tissue beneath the skin. This mechanism increases microcirculation, restores the skin’s normal balance and provides a healthier appearance.
Q. How soon will I notice results?
A. Individual results can depend on several factors: the area being treated, whether treatment is combined with another procedure, diet or exercise, your age and general condition, and the number of treatments. The procedure is typically done in a series of 16 treatments in a given area. These can be spaced as closely as 3 times a week, or as far out as once a week. In some cases it may take up to 6 to 10 treatments before you start to see significant results and maintenance is required once a month after desired results.
Q. Is it painful?
A. The procedure is not painful and not even as strenuous as a traditional massage. Most individuals report that it “just feels great”!
Q. What parts of the body can be treated?
A. Besides the thighs and buttocks for cellulite, most other parts of the body can be treated as well: the face, the love-handles, tummy, upper arms and neck. This procedure provides noticeable results before and after liposuction and after other aesthetic surgery, such as breast augmentation and abdominoplasty.
Q. Who should not be treated?
A. Anyone that is pregnant, bronchial asthma or acute asthma, lower abdominal disorder, thrombopheletis, congestive heart failure, hyper-thyroidism, or carotid sinus syndrome. These conditions are affected with the lymphatic drainage and could case complications.
Q. How can LaserDermology complement my liposuction procedure?
A. Because liposuction is a surgical procedure, normal results include fluid retention (edema) and slackening of the skin. LaserDermology treatment is recommended after surgery to accelerate the tightening of the area. Treatment prior to surgery may also have added benefits. Consult with your surgeon for what is right for you.
